Data Structure: Customers

Overview

Next to the shop related settings such as payment information and tax data, Abacus supports in general three major data streams that are relevant for an e-commerce application. Here we will introduce customer data such as clients and shoppers.

As of now customer data is imported according to the availability and usage of shoppers.

Private clients without shoppers in Abacus are transfered as single client entries inside Shopware. They have a unique customer number inside Shopware.

Corporate clients without shoppers in Abacus are transfered as well as single client entries inside Shopware. They have a unique customer number inside Shopware.

Shoppers of corporate clients in Abacus are transfered as single client entries inside Shopware. They all share the same customer number inside Shopware to make sure that they can be mapped and grouped correctly.

If a corporte client has shoppers activated the corporation as an entity does not have a client account inside Shopper to ensure that user activity is matched correctly to the correct shopper and person.

Client Data

Client data includes the below data fields:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email adress
  • Customer group (Corporate or Private)
  • Sales Channel
  • Payment method
  • Customer number
  • Street
  • City
  • Postal Code
  • Country
