Data Structure: Products ​

Overview ​

Next to the shop related settings such as payment information and tax data, Abacus supports in general three major data streams that are relevant for an e-commerce application. Here we will introduce product data.

Product information ​

There are general master data that are usually stored universally on all Abacus instances and additional data. These two groups include but are not limited to the following data.

Product master data ​

• Product name
• Product number
• Gross & net price (with or without VAT)
• Product description / sales text
• Product objects (images and documents)
• Promotion product flag
• Variant data and definition
• Stock data
• Product measures (length width and depth)
• Product weight
• Product category tree and assignment

Product additional data ​

• Manufacturer
• Search keywords

Product data that is managed in Shopware only ​

• Sales channel
